HooYu and GBG, the global identity data intelligence specialist, today announce that GBG has acquired HooYu Investigate, the fraud investigation service, from HooYu Ltd.
HooYu Ltd continues to operate HooYu Identify, its digital customer onboarding and KYC solution to a range of regulated businesses such as NatWest, Vanquis Bank and Betfred.
Launched in 2017, HooYu Investigate is one of the UK’s leading investigation software solutions. The platform automates fraud investigation and adds innovative data visualisation capability, making it easy for compliance, fraud and law enforcement teams to reduce risk and prevent crime.
The acquisition of HooYu Investigate will complement GBG’s existing anti-fraud portfolio and bring new expertise to the development of future GBG products and services. The acquisition includes all existing HooYu Investigate client contracts.
The sale of HooYu Investigate to GBG will allow HooYu to focus its resources on its fast-growing digital onboarding solution, HooYu Identify.
