Video-ID is engineered for a web browser onboarding journey, meaning the user isn’t forced to download an app purely for video verification, in stark contrast with the poor user experience delivered by incumbent providers.
The Video-ID journey is completed in three simple steps for your customer.
The first educates the customer on what they will have to do, and prepares the customer for the video journey where we check their bandwidth and ask them what language they want their video call to be in.
The customer is connected to a video agent, who operates in a secure certified environment, who then checks liveness, certifies the ID document security features and performs facial comparison.
The final step ties the user to their device with an SMS transaction number and the user is redirected out of the HooYu screen so they can continue their onboarding journey.
As soon as the user has completed the Video-ID process we pass the results along with selfie, document images and video recording back to the client. Video-ID can be combined with the results of identity database checks from sources such as Schufa.
